Solutions Architect

Job Description

• Engagement point of contact  for Development projects.  
• Advise the development projects on the solution options under project platform.
• Advise the project on ROM
• Advise the project on the estimation
• Support the developers\designers on any queries on the system architecture .
• Manage/support technical escalation during development
• Review Design documents
• Manage Data architect requirements
• Partner with other client solution architects to manage the RTM and scope of projects and programmes.
• Supports the development of and assures the quality of solution options.
• Attend  Governance forums (e.g. Solution Integration Group) to review and approved solution options
• Reviews and approves design deliverables (F.S., T.S., CTM, LTM, PTM, FAD, FDD)
• Ensure a quality solution design by maximising common solutions, common of the shelf solutions and enterprise architecture of Customer.
• The Solution Architect will work with BRM, Enterprise Architecture, Partner Solution Architects and solution vendors to ensure the integrity of the solutions and that they meet the business requirements.
• This role will be part of the matrix resource pool of Solutions Architects and the solution architect may move between projects and technology solutions to meet with project work load.
• The Solution Architect role will cover work from concept/mandate stage of the project life cycle through to post project delivery
• Provide architecture consultancy and design guidance for project integration and data quality services
• Architectural Development and operation of project Practice model in support of project requirements
• Provide Architectural Technology and services roadmap development for project– Produce roadmap deliverable
• Support estimation of new service costs for Projects in accordance with estimate templates
• Architecture design and best practice capability in support of Data Quality Programme for ESO – Produce architecture landscape diagrams, use case models and operating model structures
• Architecture Design review and governance for Power Potential Programme.
